“Apocalypse Now”

I think it is time for the death of “Apocalypse Now” or there is very little hope for our childrens children.  The Other day I was at Starbucks having a conversation with another Multi Level Marketing guy, it seems to be their preferred hunting grounds.  He was explaining to me how his grandchildren where frightened by all the End Times books and movies grandpa has, not to mention his constant talk of “Apocalypse Now”.  I asked him how he handled their fear, which I thought was very prophetic by the way.  He said he explained to them that although the Apocalypse was near, according to his understanding of the scriptures, Chuck after all couldn’t be wrong!  They where all going to heaven, which after all was a much better place, right?   Can you see I asked him that your grandchildren are looking for your belief in the future that lies before them right here and now?   The message of Jesus Christ is about the unfolding of God’s Kingdom, here and now “on Earth as it is in Heaven” and not some day over the rainbow.  He pondered for a moment but years of indoctrination kicked in, just as they are designed to do.  I was assured that they had all accepted Jesus as their “Personal Savior” and all was well.  So he will continue, along with a great number of Christians to stand on a street corners yelling “Apocalypse Now” like some prophet of doom from The Stand.  Mean while the world looks for answers and solutions, for a Messiah who is manifesting and not hiding in the clouds.  Life goes on as God intended it, looking for people to contribute to a better future for all the generations to come.  Yes I say it’s long past time for the death of “Apocalypse Now” as a worldview.

IN THE BEGINNING

t is written that in the Beginning before material origins was the Word, through whom all the beautifu and elegant manifestations of life where to unfold.  The Word dwelt within Spirit God timeless in luminous and loving unity, Word was Spirit God for anything within Spirit God must be Spirit, Loving, Luminous, the I AM in I AM.  From timeless eternity the Word was birthed from the Heart of Spirit God on the Breath of Spirit.  The Word at the creation of multiverses became small, weak, fragile a new process to unfold, a restoration to begin.  Greater is He the IAM within You, time to unfold you beautiful and elegant focus of Spirit God’s gaze.

THE EVENT

I am coming to a realization that the longer I walk out this life called me, the less I am focused on “The Event” mindset.  “The Event” to culminate, to close the deal, to get on top, to reach a conclusion, find the answer, to get there, where ever there is, if it is.  How many people merely survive so that they can reach The Event” called Friday?  It drives you this focus on “The Event”and the false and momentary feeling of success and accomplishment.  What is missed in this mad rush to “The Event” is the Love of the Journey, are we there yet?  Even faith has been infected, we now say to all who will listen faith starts with and Event and closes with an Event the middle is a dream.  Love, friendship and life itself are missed for “The Event”, hungry souls waiting for a filling that never comes from the false promises of “The Event”.  Christians are so Event driven, they tell you Jesus is here, Jesus is there and you rush and the rush to find Him, money in hand.  Have you not heard that the “kingdom of God is within you”?  God I have come to realize is not to be found discovered or experienced in “The Event”. But rather Spirit unfolds in the spaces between, with “The Event” as mere distraction, illusion or worse deception.    Time to move past “The Event” mindset, engage, embrace, consume and invest in the Journey that is your Life,  for Life is “The Event” my friend.
